Where is Section47?

| Section 47 is based around Starbase 47 that was an important location during the Betreka Nebula Incident between the Cardassian Union and the Klingon Empire.

About the Site

| Section 47 is a Trivia Sim RPG. This means that simmers progress in rank up to Captain by answering trivia questions weekly.
The site has been in continuous operation for 10 years. Due to its longevity a great amount has happened both in-sim and out of sim.
This Wiki is designed to give all members new and old access to the sum total of Section 47 lore.

| Starbase Assailant otherwise designated as Starbase 2 is situated in orbit of Qualinost on the edge of the Betreka Nebula. A base has existed at this position for over 100 years, serving as a backwater resupply post. It wasn't until the Dominion War when it was under the command of Admiral Nathan Summers did its importance grow finding itself on the front line.
After the Dominion War is was refitted and assigned to Section 47 to administrate. It rose to prominence once more when it was discovered that the originally dormant planet below was home to an ancient Debrune city, the last intact one. Its discovery prompted the return of the remnants of the Debrune who resettled the planet along with Takaran refugees relocated there by Starfleet.
As a hub of insterstellar diplomacy situated between the Cardassians, Klingons and Tholians, Assailant became a vital station during the Colonial War and was instrumental in drawing that conflict to a close.
